Manna for Today: "When You See the Wagons"
Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though NOW ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 1Pe 1:8
When do we rejoice? When is this rejoicing to take place? After our earthly life ends or During our earthly life? It's clear to me that we are to rejoice NOW, during our physical life-time, with unspeakable joy, filled with glory.
Today's lesson focuses on what benefits and things are ours in Christ NOW, rather than later.
Ge 45:26 And told him, saying, Joseph is yet alive, and he is governor over all the land of Egypt. And Jacob's heart fainted, for he believed them not.
Ge 45:27 And they told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said unto them: and when he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived:
Ge 45:28 And Israel said, It is enough; Joseph my son is yet alive: I will go and see him before I die.
Jacob has spent many years grieving over the loss of the son he greatly loved. When his other sons brought up that Joseph is alive and lives in Egypt; as Governor over all of Egypt; he could not believe it. You nor I would believe it either. It tore open the wound of his heart again causing him to faint; his spirit went down. We have all been there. Another blow. Another reminder of failure or another reminder of loss. Jacob did not believe the testimony of his sons.
But, somehow he looked out the door or out the window. What did he see? He saw wagons parked in his yard. Wagons which he knew were not his wagons. They were wagons from the kingdom of Egypt. And when he saw the wagons that were sent from his Son that were to take him to Egypt, to see his Son; his spirit revived! He said ok, that's enough! Joseph is alive. I'm going to Egypt to see my son before I die! That's Joy unspeakable and full of glory!
Have you seen the wagons, the royal wagons from the Son who sits as Governor, dispensing all the good things of the Father of Heaven? Words and testimonials lack oft lack meaning when they are compared to you actually seeing what has been sent from the throne. There are enough wonderful provisions to provide for our complete journey to see the Governor, to see the King! He has provided all we need to go see the Son!
Once we see the Wagons of the Spirit, we will know without a doubt that Jesus is alive.
Lord, help us all to see the wonderful provisions you have provided for our journey to see you. Provisions of supply and protection for the whole trip.
When Jacob saw the royal wagons (which were packed from the throne with abundant provisions for the journey) he knew right then that his Son was alive! (Gen 45:17-28) An his spirit revived!
My brother and sister we are called to enjoy the trip, while on our way to see the King. With all of the trip's challenges, adversities, push-backs, tests, and trials; - everything we need along the journey is provided for, ..from His throne. God meant for the trip to be joy unspeakable and full of glory during the way to see the Son, the Governor!
Jesus said, "That your joy may be full".
Manna for Today:"The Hour Is Come"
The phrase "the hour is come" is used several times in the gospels by Jesus. But he uses it one time with added emphasis. He said to the woman at the well …But the hour cometh, and NOW is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. Joh 4:23
Jesus adding the expression "now is" was an added emphasis, confirmation, or a double witness that "the hour is come" and is right NOW! One of darkness's great tools of diversion is seen in Martha's interaction with Jesus in John 11.
Martha looks at the past when she says: If you had been here my brother would not have died. Tthen a moment later Martha looks at the future when she says: I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day. Past. Future. But Jesus brings her back to the present when he says; I am the resurrection and the life. The resurrection is ME! The resurrection is a person. We should stop thinking of the resurrection as simply a place in time or a physical event. It's so much more than just that. There is a "present Truth" for us NOW if we can just get our focus off of yesterday and tomorrow and focus on what is real NOW.
Would you believe it, if I told you believer friend, that resurrection has already taken place in your life? Would you believe that you have already Died with Jesus, already been Buried with Jesus, and already been Raised (a type of resurrection) with Jesus? DIED, BURIED, and RESURRECTED IS Present Truth in scripture as a spiritual reality for us presently NOW; long before that great getting' up morning takes place.
On the last page of the New Testament, John is told in AD. 90? …Don't seal up these sayings, for the time is at hand (Rev 22:10) In other words, the time is at your hand, the time is NOW. Grasp it. Squeeze it. This attitude of "the time is at hand" exists at the beginning of the book of Revelation (1:3), is reaffirmed in the middle of the book. Almost, in the exact middle of the book of Revelation of Jesus Christ is a CENTER-PIECE statement: (12:10 - Now is come salvation, strength, kingdom and the power of Christ). That pointing to the present, appears again in the last chapter (22:10) ..Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
Jesus Christ is a present super-reality in a world-kosmos of distracting substitute realities.
This is the day the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it.
Manna for Today:"There Is Grace For That!"
Scripture : 2Co 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness…
My Grace (divine influence upon the heart, gift, favour,) is Sufficient (raises a barrier, satisfactory, enough) for you. For My Strength (dunamis-power) is perfect(to complete, finish, consummate, fulfil) in weakness.. [(feebleness, malady, disease, sickness, infirmity)- of mind or body]
From the examples of the Old Testament stories we see that one constant is that the enemy is always coming to assault or attack believer's; God's People.
When God's people were living weakly or in evil attacks came; such as in the time of Gideon, (when the Midianites came), or in Samson's time, (when the Phisitines came.
Even when Israel was living right and clean evil attacks came: such as in the time of Asa, (when the Ethiopians came) or in the time of Hezekiah, (when the Assyrians came). So the enemy is coming one way or the other.
Whether you are back-slide or living-right - the enemy is coming to kill your testimony - to take you out of the land - out of God's Promises - out of Your Inheritance! Whether he literally takes you physically out of God's land or kills your testimony. It's a form of death; either way. Goof news! There is Grace for That! God's Grace exists for each circumstance we might find our-selves in.
God's Grace being sufficient in both conditions does not mean : that God excuses our sin or our missing the mark. Nor does it mean that God excuses or looks away. Neither does it mean that we don't reap what we sow; nor that we can stop the flood, "Noah"; that's coming.
"My Grace is Sufficient" and "there is Grace for that" does not mean that we might not for a season have to pull back, or hide out in caves, dens and strong-holds. We may not, for a seson, be able to stop the intimidating Giant; which strikes fear in our heart and mind.
But my grace is sufficient does mean that no matter the flood, no matter the enemy, no matter the intimidation of what's going on in the world around me; - there is God's Grace for It; for whatever.
Today, believers are facing another flood of filth and perversion, just as Noah did in his day. Guess what! There is Grace for That! He says to each of us - My Grace is Sufficient!
God's Grace has a plan for each believer and sinner. Right Now! If you are a Sinner, in any sense of the word; - Repent! Change and Reverse your ideas about Jesus, his Blood, his Spirit, his Name and his Bible - God's Word to Us! Have faith in Him and watch as raises up a standard for each believing person, family, and worship center.
God's Grace does not stop the Flood. It's here! You can't change it! But, God's Grace does give you a Plan. He gave a plan to Noah! To Gideon! To Hannah! To David! To Paul! To Tou! To Me! A Way Out is your Way Thorough! A Place of Safety Against the Storm! Yes, Noah! There's Grace for That!
My Grace is Sufficient!
Manna for Today:"The Lord's Daily Double"
They shall rejoice in their portion therefore they shall possess the double : everlasting joy shall be upon their heads (Isa 61:7)
Am I walking the His Daily Double!?
Double shows up repeatedly in our walk with our everlasting Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. In the Father and the Son. There's a double that hell can't with-stand. Hell fusses, gripes, and complains; but all to no effect.
The witness of two. We see it all through man's experiences with our creator.
The double portion of the firstborn(Deu 21:17), Elisha's request for a double portion of Elijah's Spirit(2Ki 2:9), Job's reward for his enduring faith, the double of blood and water flowing out of Jesus' pierced side (Joh 19:34), being born again of water and Spirit(Joh 3:5), go preach the kingdom and heal the sick(Mat 10:7-8), he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved(Mar 16:16), and double bread(Mat 4:4)
Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. There's double bread. Natural Bread for the natural, physical strength. Spiritual bread for spiritual strength. (Mt 4:4..It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.)
Your portion child of God is the Lord's daily double. Rejoice in his portion for you. Possess your portion. You have won the Lord's Daily Double. Possessing the Double and everlasting joy is an act of faith.
They shall rejoice in their portion therefore they shall possess the double : everlasting joy shall be upon their heads (Isa 61:7)
Manna for Today:"I have Somebody With Me "
When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the Lord thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; (For the Lord thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them. - Deut. 4:30-31

A heavy load upon me and yet I'm pressing on,
Because I have found a Savior, Friend, and Guide.

Jehovah God let his people know just few weeks out of Egypt, while at Mt. Sinai, essentially having only begun this journey of a life-time; that they would fail over time to walk with Him as they should. They would find themselves in situations of distress, crowding pressure, tribulation brought on by their own actions or failures to act. And what does Jehovah say to them? When all these things have come upon you, I provide for you a way out.
If you will just turn to me; yes, in the midst of your confusion, chaos, darkness, …and sin. If you will turn to me, I will not forget my covenant with your fathers (natural and spiritual). I will not forsake you. Just listen attentively, intelligently, obediently to my voice.
I have somebody with me to share my heavy load. (It doesn't matter how the load got here)

It doesn't matter. The prodigal son found that he had wasted all of his inheritance in all the wrong places, with all the wrong people, doing all the wrong things. Yet, the Father is ever looking down the road for his son or daughter, to come back to the Father's House. In fact, when the Father sees him coming, you see in scripture God portrayed as running to meet that child; that son or daughter who is coming home. Check out Luke 15..
What kind of God is this? There has never been a God like our God!

As you should understand by now, that we always baptize people "in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ". Because he is the central plan and focus of all that God, our heavenly father has done from the beginning.
But what about Mat 28:19 ? Every time we honor Jesus Christ in water baptism, we are always baptizing people "in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost".

The vessel was about thirty years of age. The age of priests was 30 , while 20 made eligible for war but not for priestly duties. That day at the river Jesus had become the human vessel of the Father, the Spirit. He had walked and learned day by day as he walked with his heavenly Father. The Father was pleased with his Son. Jesus was filled with the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of God's presence, that he would be known in Spirit sense as the express image of the Father, God manifest in the flesh, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father. The Word made Flesh. More than a Priest, more than a Prophet, more than a King. A Son.
Behold, He Comes. Behold, thy salvation comes. Behold, thy Redeemer comes. Thy Savior comes. Heaven was rent that day and something began different than any previous man or prophet of God had experienced.
The Spirit of the Father came to a natural son of man. Now the Son of God on more than a natural level. Now in a Spiritual level. You want to see the Father. Since no man has ever seen God at any time, but if you see me you see the Father.
Each believer who receives the baptism of the Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit, enters into a similar relationship with their creator. They receive the Spirit Life relationship of Father-Son within on a Spirit level.
Manna for Today:"Heart Union Is The Greatest Union "
The most wonderful thing has happened to me. I found a woman that I have united my heart with. We entered into the greatest union that can exist between two humans. When two hearts are united so that they become not only one heart; but they also become one flesh. The most wonderful union, uniting that a person can experience on the physical, natural.
A union. A uniting. A becoming one. Those of us who have experienced this, have experienced the ultimate that humanity can experience. I turned to my wife of 50 years the other day and said; In all these years, I never experienced a fear that you did not love me. Not once, that I can recollect, in all of our difficulties which we have experienced together. She said the same back to me. Love cast out fear. Perfect, complete love does cast out fear. I can truth-fully say she has never, not once, cause fear to rise in my heart.
I experienced that feeling a few times with other girls, on my way to LaDonna. So I barely remember that sick, in the pit of the stomach feeling, when you suspect that the desire, affection, love is beginning to wane.
And I came to a greater, more superlative love relationship when I came into heart union with the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God. One song writer expresses this ultimate love union when he/she said …
"The greatest thing in all my life has been loving you,
The greatest thing in all my life has been loving you,
I want to love you more, to love you more.
The greatest thing in all my life has been loving you."

I have said all that to say, That the greatest thing with our natural life experience is the love and uniting of two hearts that exists between a man and a woman.
The greatest thing, the greatest experience a human, two individuals can have in this natural world is the uniting love experience between a woman and a man. Where two different people, male and female, become one, not only in spirit, but also in flesh. Jesus said two become united in one.
Manna for Today:"Heart Union Is More Than One Thing "
Union with Christ, a heart accepting of Jesus, a true heart union with the son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ is the greatest spiritual experience a human can have while on this planet Earth.
Receiving the Seed, receiving the Word of Life, receiving Jesus fully and without reservation, entering to a 100% heart union which Him, taking up my cross, giving of one's life completely over to His Lord-ship is the greatest thing a human can experience.
It is another new conception. It is being born from above. It is entering into Salvation. It is being Saved. It is Abundant Life. It is a passing from death unto life. When it truly happens a person gives their heart over to another you will experience a passing from death unto life.
Marriage is not just one thing. No more than Life is one thing ….Conception, Birth, Infancy, child, adolescent, teen-ager, adult. Many changes and steps along the way.
Marriage is more than one thing. Salvation is more than one thing. Life is more than one thing.
Our Life in God in Christ Jesus is more than one thing.

Just as Life is Banner or the Header over the Door; it is composed of many stages and different experiences.
One-Flesh - Mt 19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Mat 19:6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

Manna for Today:"Escaping Reality"
Isa 4:2 In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.
Isa 4:3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:
Natural man has used many methods to escape the pressures, turmoil, and persistent blasts of their natural world reality of suffering, anguish, sadness, pain, loss, imperfections, deficiencies, lack and longings.
You may sit watching nature around you, the sky, the birds, animals, the trees, the mountains surrounding you. You may even read a book, listen to a song, watch a video, take a journey, but the born again child of God has another escape.
You may not look at is as an escape. But, as the children of God in Christ, we have an escape in his Word, in communion in Prayer, in worship in Song, in singing of praise and adoration. Prayer not only can be, but it is an escape. Prayer is a place I go to be alone with Jesus. Alone with my God, my Father, my King, my Lord, my Doctor, my Lawyer, my Therapist, my Friend, my Brother, my Counselor, my Banker, my Financial Advisor, and on it goes.
It is common to want to get out, get away some time from it all. One song writer said Sweet Hour of Prayer, Sweet Hour of Prayer, that draws me from a world of care. Prayer and Worship are ways of escaping our natural circumstances into a superior, heavenly Spirit Reality in Christ. He is Our consolation, our consoler, our comforter, our provider, our supplier. He's all that and so much more.
We don't video head-sets; nor, 'Ready Player One". We step into the heavenly places in Christ. Escape into his Word; into Worship, into the Spirit. Escape into Praise. Escape into Life and life more abundantly! Escape into the True Reality, that lasts forever!
Giving
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
We have just come through the season of giving which affects a great portion of the world in December especially in nations where Christianity has taken root.
Giving is an aspect of the of the divine nature of our creator. He gave us life. He gave us a place to live. He gives us food and clothing. He gave us His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus gave his life that each of us may have everlasting eternal life: that we never perish even though our natural life comes to an end after a period time.
For God so loved that he gave. Giving is one of the great ear-marks of Love. He loved us that he gave us his Son, Jesus. Jesus loved us that he gave his Life for us. That we might be restored back into divine Spirit fellowship with the Father which was lost by the first human Adam.
Giving is in God's nature. There is something spiritual, even divine about giving, especially to those who can't give back to us. Have you ever noticed what it does to your personality, your attitude when you give to someone who can't give back to you. Try it. Watch what happens to you. When you give. Give not to get. Give. Find someone to give to. It will affect your psyche.
God gave directions in how to bless the children of Israel (Num 6). Say to them. "The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious unto you. The Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace."
Give! It is more blessed to give, than to receive.
Driver's Ed - Aggravate the Devil

What can I do to aggravate the powers of hell today?
Believe the Bible is God's written word to us.
Love folks and forgive their trespasses against you.
Read his Word daily - Believe it and act on it!
Keep repenting - keep reversing your old man decisions.
Believe Living in sin - is unacceptable to Christ Jesus.
Come out from among the religious system- saith the Lord.
Don't talk about folks. Don't accuse and don't slander.
Pray for yourself. Pray for others.
Pray in your Understanding. Pray in the Spirit!
Do everything in Jesus Name. Pray in his name.
Believe that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, is the same today to them that Believe, and will be same forever.
When you're down, get up in Jesus name.
When your mind is in a fog - speak the name of Jesus!
Hold on to Christ as you walk thru darkness of life.
Sing in his name. Walk in his name. Live in his name.
Get baptized in Jesus name. Speak in tongues in Jesus name.
Cast out the devil in Jesus name.
These are a few things that will aggravate the devil.
We are not ignorant of his many devices.
LEARNING CHRIST - CHRIST SCHOOL
Mt 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and "learn(understand) of me(my,mine)"; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls
CHRIST IS OUR EDUCATION.
CHRIST IS GOD'S CURRICULUM.
As a citizen of this nation, our constitution requires the education of each citizen to a certain level. One of the core reasons was the hope of ensuring a people free from tyranny. Our American educational system takes a child through pre-school, primary school, middle school, junior high school, high school, and later vocational school or college or university school.
It all begins with the basics …. Reading, Writing, & Arithmetic. From pre-school a child's education is about preparing that child to function in this world using Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic in some or all forms.
Welcome to Jesus Country! Where Jesus is the curriculum.
You may have never thought that God has an educational purpose for all of his citizens in the commonwealth of his holy nation, the Israel of God. God does have a curriculum scope and sequence, as we call it in educational jargon. God has a school for his peculiar people of the seed of Abraham, a school for his the body of Christ, a school for his church of the living God, a school for his the pillar and ground of the truth.
God has a driving educational focus, a goal, a scope and sequence to teach each one of us. His curriculum is Christ. It is Not the three "R's". Everything in our discipleship is about developing and maturing us in the learning of….Christ. God's Christ teaching program is the one under-lying purpose, reason and foundation …behind everything that happens to us in our walk and our life's journey with God.
It's not learning about me. It's learning Christ! The first is head knowledge. The latter is heart relationship and it always trumps religion.
Eph 4:21 If so ..that ye "have heard him", and have been "taught by him", as the truth is in Jesus:
Truth is not an "It". Truth is a "Person"!

Da 9:24 Seventy weeks (490 yrs) are determined (decreed, to cut off) upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to…(1) finish the transgression, and …(2)to make an end of sins, and …(3)to make reconciliation for iniquity, and …(4)to bring in everlasting righteousness, and …(5)to seal up the vision and prophecy, and …(6)to anoint the most Holy.
These 6 things were and are fulfilled in Jesus Christ. All were fulfilled in the 70th week. None were fulfilled in the 1st 69 weeks. The 70th week is over, sealed up, finished! (Some feel there is to be a 3 1/2 or last half of the week (midst of the week) to reach the natural Jews again with a Christ revival.) But Christ's effect still stands.
"TO FINISH THE TRANSGRESSION"
The transgressions of the Old Testament have been judged, the decision made, the sentence was rendered and the verdict handed out from heaven's court-room about 2000 years ago. The jurisdiction of the Old has ended.
Matthew 23: v32. Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. ....v35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
"TO MAKE AN END OF SIN"
Sin's Reign over man-kind came to an End in Jesus Christ 2000 years ago. In Christ Jesus the "Reigning of Life" began about 2000 years ago.
Joh 1:29 … Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
Hebrews 9:26 …but now once in the end of the world(age) hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
"TO MAKE RECONCILIATION (atonement) FOR INIQUITY"
The Atonement and Reconciliation took place in Jesus' death at Calvary and is made real to each believer by faith in Christ's death, burial and resurrection. This reconciliation began it's tenure or effect about 2000 years ago.
Romans 5:8-11….But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. v10…For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. ..v11- And not only so,… by whom we have now received the atonement.
"TO BRING IN EVERLASTING RIGHTEOUSNESS"
Through Jesus Christ each believer is Now Righteous..."Right with God".
Romans 3:..v21…But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested,..v22.. Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: .v23.. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;…v24..justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ..
"TO SEAL UP THE VISION & THE PROPHECY"
The vision and prophecy was sealed and closed unto all hearts who would not come to Christ as little children with broken and contrite hearts. Those filled with religious leaven could not "see it" …nor …would they "hear" his Kingdom of God message. It was sealed unto the Jews. (made an end, closed up, stopped) ! It continues to be sealed and closed unto All who are outside of Christ Jesus, for nearly 2000 years.
Matthew 13: ..v14.. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, (Isa 6:10-12) which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: .v15.. For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed..
"TO ANOINT THE MOST HOLY"
God never really wanted a dwelling place built by hands, and will never choose to return to one. Stephen mentioned this just before his death when he said, "Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?" (Acts 7:48-49)
Ps 51:16-17 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
This mystery of the ages hidden in Christ reveals that God's intentions were always to make His True Israel of God …a spiritual race of people, …after the Spirit, of both Jewish and Gentile descent. Eph 3:5-6 …Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;…v6 That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:"
